) It’s like having an art teacher come to your house! These are great projects for a rainy day or play date or for just plain doing instead of simply sitting there and watching. Cheri Lynn shows kids how to do 30 projects. Some are made with tissue paper and modge podge glue, some with model magic and scissors and foam board, others with something as simple as weaving paper and turning it into a mask! Be forewarned, Lynn uses a hot glue gun for some of her work where staples would do—especially with young kids. Our favorite was the Funky Line drawings done with pens and paper. You can print out directions and most projects will work well with 5 & up. For older kids, see her World Art. 10 & up. (800) 476-1991. Age: Early School Years,Later School Years. Award Year: 2006.
