There’s not a lot of story but the action words and lilting language are one way to turn young listeners’ attention to the A, B, C’s.

Take the letter G, for example—there are 25 Gs, as in glass, golfing, golf club, grinning, green, etc. This is not an alphabet book for beginners. But it is fun for 5–8.
