March of the Penguins
( National Geographic $ Score: ) While we’re not sure if your family shares our family’s ongoing fascination with penguins, this stunning movie should intrigue you. The life of the Emperor penguins in the Antarctic is amazing to watch as they, without a director, jump out of the water and march single file to their breeding ground. The males watch over the eggs for two months (without eating), and cope with 100-mile-an-hour winds and temperatures well below zero—truly dedicated Dads! To make a good thing even better, the film is narrated by Morgan Freeman. 7 & up.
