Little Tikes Super Splash Water Park
) Our testers (five to eight years old) really loved playing on this big blow up water park. It is a wow wee kind of toy. Specifically they enjoyed the shower of water that keeps the slide wet. The water canon was also a hit as were the crawl through spaces. All of their glowing comments aide, we note the parents concern that the kids fell off the elevated platform that they must climb on in order to get to the water slide. Stepping from the water onto the platform caused some spills- no one was hurt, but they raised the potential for injury. That said, we are not giving this an award and suggest that the climbing aspect needs to be really carefully supervised if you decide to bring it home. The parent tester also noted that while she was able to put the water slide together on her own, that the instructions on assembly were not clear: "especially in stating that you Velcro on the water cannon and shower part BEFORE inflating..." She also noted that "the storage bag works, and I got it all in there, but it's tight." Deflating the toy also had its problems: "When I deflated it to get the water out from the pool, I discovered that the short sealed wall around the pool had also filled with some water, and there was no way to "empty" it. I reinflated the slide as directed, but had to wait quite a bit longer than directed for this part to dry out. In fact, on the whole, the water park took a lot longer than expected to dry out and to be ready to store."
