Manhattan Toy $25 Score:This safety mirror has less distortion than most. It is in an oval fabric frame that attaches to a crib rail or can be stood on the floor on the easel backing. There are two crinkle-sound toys, a face and a star attached to the side of the mirror. There is also a small fabric moon that dangles down and small ribbons that baby will like to finger. Seeing their own faces and fingers in the mirror is fun for infants, although they may not know just what they are seeing at first. Still the moving features do interest them and eventually they will even recognize themselves and like playing peek a boo games. The company has signed a verification form complying with our safety requirements. We did not independently test this toy in a lab.
Age: Infants. Award Year: 2009. Click here to purchase the product on Amazon.com.
