Consensus Junior Edition
( Mindlogic $24.95 Score: )

Consensus Junior Edition is different from most games we've tested this year - something our testers noted and enjoyed. The game play involves turning over a new adjective card for each round.  Players then look at the ten noun cards.  Each player votes as to which noun goes best with the adjective.  Players that agree with each other's choice get more points and advance on the playboard.  In otherwords, you benefit from selecting the noun that you believe the other players will select...hence building on the concept of consensus.

The game is easy to learn and fun to play.  We also loved the playful use of adjectives and nouns.  So much better than a worksheet, it's a hands on, non-school like experience with word play.  Just having a conversation about the word "consensus" is thought provoking.  In a nation where we value and prize individuality, this game makes us stretch to see how building a consensus can also be useful in certain situations.

The company has signed a verification form complying with our safety requirements. We did not independently test this toy in a lab.
