Tie dying is always a hit with our testers. This kit is designed for older kids with three dye packets that need to be mixed into the plastic containers along with presoak powder, a pair of gloves, rubber bands, a white cotton scarf, and detailed instructions on how to mix colors and get special effects. There is enough dye in the kit to color a spare tee shirt or cotton hat. Our testers really loved this kit. Marked for 8 & up, we suggest 8-10's will need supervision as to covering indoor surfaces and their clothing.  You might enjoy this kit outside where spills won't stain anything but the grass.
