2010 Award
( Zimzala Games $24.99 Score: )

Fans of the Discovery Channel's hit show Mythbusters will really love this board game edition.  Our team of teens thought that the game blended the best of the game.  Here's how you play.  The idea is catapult the little dummy Buster onto your own targets.  You get to place your targets and/or change the angle of the catapult by rolling the die. You get a chance to roll the die by answering questions on 400 trivia cards.  While it took a long time for us to get an answer correct--(you either select from three multiple choice answers or you confirm or bust a myth)-- we had such a good time with the trivia that no one seemed to mind that we were launching Buster very often.  If Buster lands on the target, you score. Our testers thought that the company did a great job by including so many trivia cards- they also gave high marks to Buster and the cataplut.

If you're looking for a game for tween and teen boys (in particular) that they will be willing to play--this is a great choice. Even if you're not a fan of the show-- it's a fun game to play with your kids. The game and show have hit a nerve and reinforce that science can be fun!
