If you collected foreign dolls as a child, you know they were designed to stand on a shelf, as display---not play dolls. All that has changed recently. This collection of 14" dolls from such locations Ethiopia, India, Mexico, Laos, Belarus and even the USA, are pretty enough to display, but designed to be enjoyed. Each comes with a comb for hair play, a small book that tells about her country, and dressed in a typical costume of her region. These take the idea of multicultural dolls beyond the usual. A portion of proceeds from each doll is donated to a charity in the country that doll represents.

The company has signed a verification form complying with our safety requirements. We did not independently test this toy in a lab.
