) Another funny and easy to read story about Elephant and Piggie. This time Piggie is thrilled to announce that it is Happy Pig Day, her favorite day of the year. The more Piggie goes on and on with her joy, the more Elephant feels left out. But leave it to Piggie to help Elephant bounce back. A good choice for beginning readers who need to build their confidence as readers with books that give them a safety net of repetition. Mo WIllems is a master of this easy-to-read book that gets kids started with stories that have a sense of humor.
