Important Advisory:

The Asterisk on the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Lead-Free* Platinum Award list indicates that samples from only one particular batch of these toys tested lead free.  Other production runs or samples of the same products may contain lead.

We have not had the other toys on our website independently tested for lead content. For the future, we are requiring companies to provide us with documentation that their products have been tested by an independent lab and found to be free of surface and embedded lead, as well as phthalates.

Bridge & Tunnel Clubhouse Climber

(Step 2 $400)  Here’s a great investment toy for developing big muscles and coordination.  The two towers and connecting bridge are also an ideal setting for pretend play. One tower is outfitted with pretend props like a phone, a message board, and a table and chairs.  The climber is big enough for several kids to share without quarrels! Ideal for older toddlers and preschoolers- tall fours will not fit with out bending down. Has one slide and is packed with places to explore and lots of pretend possibilities. As with most toys this year, the “cordless” phone comes with electronic sounds.  (800) 347-8372.   Safety note: All climbers need to be installed on double shredded bark mulch or fine sand. Grass is no longer considered safe enough to prevent injuries.

Sand and Water Raceway

(Hedstrom $60) Perfect for a large city terrace or the patio deck, this sand and water table holds a limited amount of sand and a water table with Three wheels that kids can crank to move boats and ducks around a moat. There’s a water drain plug for easy emptying and a cover for the sand table. Legs of the tables are weighted so this won’t fly away or easily tip.  The sand portion of the table is small and doesn’t really replace a sit-in sandbox. Built for kids 2 & up.
