Hasbro Simon Air

July 19, 2016

(Hasbro $39.99)

You probably remember your Simon toy, as a light-up pad with color lights that flashed in patterns that you had to duplicate by hitting the colors in the same sequence. Back in the day, Simon sat flat on the table. Now it’s been updated as a stand-up loop that turns out to be far more user-friendly. Designed with touch free technology, your hand can just hover over the right colors as you play back the sequence you have just seen and heard. This can be played solo or with two players. It’s a fun game for developing visual memory, and the tasks grow harder as the game proceeds. 8 & up
