Last year Playmobil won the prize for their Children’s Hospital; Sadly, given the state of our world, for 2021 they’ve re-introduced their Large Hospital with a working elevator that will carry a gurney and patient. It’s a two-story building with a waiting room, operating room and luxury single patient’s rooms. It’s chock full of all kinds of medical devices, rolling patient beds, furnishings for the patient room, medical charts, medical cart, IV pole, and many other accessories. There are also whole wings with extra rooms you can add on to the hospital if you are feeling the need. We especially like some of the separate kits which could be added to last season’s Children’s Hospital, the new Large Hospital one or used with blocks as stand alone props. Construction of this elaborate setting will require adult help. Settings like this can help children play through their own feelings if they have been hospitalized or are about to be. There are also several new accessories worth considering to add to this or the Children's Hospital.
