Educational Insights Sophie’s Seashell Scramble Game

A game that goes a step beyond simple matching. Each player has a playing board with places to collect matching shells. To win a shell, players take turns setting the spinner in motion and finding the matching pattern or number of shells shown. They will need some dexterity to pick up the matching shell with the plastic Sophie Squeezer Otter and place it on their playing card. There are some other tricky rules that you can use with older kids or forget about with the younger players. A good choice for fine motor skills as well as visual discrimination. Marked for 3 & up. We think it's more like a game for fours and fives. [Editor’s note: The shell playing pieces look like white chocolate candy – which makes them a safety issue where there are young children in the house.]
