(Playmobil $99.99) Our testers loved this new two level hospital setting from Playmobil. It's a two level hospital complete with an operating room, a patient's room and bathroom. We love that there's a reception desk at the entrance of the hospital. And as with all Playmobil settings, the attention to detail is unmatched. You'll find flowers in the patient's room as well as an IV drip. The operating room has all the special lighting, surgical table and equipment for pretend procedures. The box is marked 4-10. We find that Playmobil make great parent-child builds -- and then your child has a great pretend setting to enjoy. There are two notable smaller sets to add on to the hospital. The first is a Maternity Ward ($44.99 ) complete with a baby in a newborn hospital bassinet, changing table, a mom and nurse. The second is an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Set ($29.99) that comes with a bar, PT table, patient in a wheelchair and therapist.

All of these products make great settings for kids that may have real life medical experiences. Having a pretend setting allows kids the space for talking out their own issues. Listen to their patter as they play. And if you have a child interested in the medical world, this would also be a hit.
