Creativity for Kids Make Your Own Water Globes

Who doesn’t love water globes? How about the fun of making three of your very own? A perfect rainy-day project with a sweet theme—meaning it comes with three plastic figurines: an ice cream cone, a birthday cake, and a cup with whipped cream topping. Kids add other non-drying clay creations to the base of each water globe. They’ll need fine motor skills and the clay tools to make the decorative setting around the figurine. Chances are they’ll need adult help using the tiny funnel to fill the globes with water and glitter and put the stopper in securely. A good choice for early school years kids who love having an end product they can play with when their creative work is done. 6 and up.
