For a company that specialized in cooperative play games, this is something of a new but fitting direction. This challenging but handsome 500-piecce jigsaw puzzle with foil accents features flying hot air balloons over a bucolic scene with mountains, pastures, a windmill by a river and a small village. Stored in a sturdy magnetic box with a place printed on the back to sign when you complete the puzzle. The idea is that once you’ve done it, you Pass-it-Along for friends or family who can eventually do the same. You might call it a gimmick, but it’s one that makes sense. Repurposing toys of all kinds makes a lot of sense. Better than stacks of puzzles gathering dust and taking up space.
