Play Monster Pass the Pup Game

Pass the Pup is like the classic game of Hot Potato redone with soft edges. In this case one player presses the paw of a cute little stuffed pup too start the music. Players sit in a circle and Pup is passed around and around until the music stops. The person caught holding Pup has to take a small card (they are tucked into a pocket on Pup) and do what the card says to do…shake like a wet pup, bark out loud or wag their tail. Now the game continues. In the traditional game, the child holding the hot potato was out of the game…and play continued until there was only one person left standing. This is a lot more kid friendly and means all the players play until the game lags and kids are ready to move on to another game. A good choice for a birthday party or family gathering with lots of little ones. 3 and up.
