Big Jigs City Fire Station

(Big Jigs $150.00)

For pretend play, this wooden fire station has two floors with a place for firefighters to rest upstairs and a lower floor where the firetruck waits. There are big working doors on both sides of the station. The roof of the station comes off for ease of play, there is a pole to slide down, but not easy for firefighters to get on. There’s also a building next door (with graphic flames) that appears to be on fire. The building has three ladders inside that little firefighters (not included in setting) can go up and down. Our tester reported that this went together more easily than the garage, but it does take time and patience and a big screwdriver. Be forewarned: there is a photo and text on one side of the box indicating that there are no vehicles or action figures in the box, the big picture shows firefighters with accessories. On a more positive note: we’re delighted to see that there is a girl pictured on the box; Yes, a happy sign of the times! See our review of Big Jig Firefighters. 3 and up.
