Petit Collage Rush to Recycle Game

Recycling should be old hat by now, but in too many places it’s still barely practiced. Maybe the idea should be taught early on. We’ve had recycling toy trucks before, but this eco-minded game takes the idea several steps further. The playing board is a roadway with color coded recycling boxes at the end of the road. A small wooden truck is placed at the start of the road. Players get a number of color-coded cards with images of glass, metal plastic, paper or compost. Players take turns rolling the color die and if they have an object in their cards the same color as the die, they can put it into the matching box. But if a player rolls the recycling icon, the truck moves forward one space. The object is to get rid of all your cards before the truck reaches the end of the road. The game can be played cooperatively or by 2-4 players. Early school.
