With 20 sound and motion combinations, this talking dump truck is a novelty toy. It will still work when the batteries run down or you want to silence it and let your little truck driver take charge. Its animated face is friendly and unlike the sandbox classic Tonkas, which we consider Blue Chip, this is an indoor toy for beginners. If you don’t like anthropomorphized vehicles, you will want to look at more traditional Tonka trucks that have been enjoyed by generations. That said, this is likely to please kids who are growing up with talking trains, trucks, and robots on small and large screens. 3 and up.
